Case 4
A 37 year old man is brought to the ED by ambulance from a house party. The paramedics were called by a friend who was very concerned about the patients behaviour. He appeared agitated and distressed complaining of a racing heart.
On arrival to the department he is exhibiting psychomotor agitation, he is sweaty, anxious and has dilated pupils.
His observations are as follows;
